Aloe Vera is the succulent ‘medicine’ plant of healing and protection. The sap inside the plant greatly benefits the skin and is a popular treatment for sunburn. How to care for an Aloe Vera plant
Used to the arid desert environment, Aloe Vera plants are low maintenance and can survive infrequent watering. Their large thick leaves require moisture, however, so it is essential that when you water them, you water them deeply. To avoid overwatering your plant, ensure the top third of the soil is dry. They thrive in direct sunlight and temperatures of no lower than 12 degrees.
