Grow your very own oranges with our Calamondin citrus tree. These self-pollinating, small shrubs look fantastic both inside and outside your home. The citrus fruit they produce is a hybrid between a kumquat and a mandarin orange. It is sweet, juicy, and perfect for summer! They also flower before they turn into juicy edible orange fruits. You can use them in a variety of cooking and skin-care recipes. These citrus plants come in a standard nursery pot. We recommend leaving it in the pot for a few months before repotting or planting.
Citrus plants can be grown indoors in pots. They thrive in full sunlight, so greenhouses or orangeries are best! The British climate can be unpredictable, so if you plan to grow your tree outside, you need to provide it with protection during the frosty weather. Water once a week in summer (using rainwater when possible). Then move indoors when temperatures drop.
